The beat team have been busy at a variety of locations on the area which have raised concerns in the community which have been fed back to us via the surveys that have been completed so thank you and keep completing them as it does help us shape our priorities. In January we had 4 specific dates set aside our normal daily business to tackle the following, 16th -Speed awareness Op - Several drivers stopped spoken to and advised. They did not meet the threshold for a ticket. 19th Safer streets winter Op - Retail venues visited to tackle theft and to offer reassurance to the visiting public , Crime prevention advice given. 24th - Open Spaces / vehicle Op - Large open spaces (Western Park / Stokeswood Park) Visible patrols and Officers in plain clothes spotting and to be a deterrent to misuse of public spaces. 24th - Consultation event around Samson Rd - Multiple residents engaged with about reports of ASB in the area with the results being fed back to Leicester City Council for action.
